CANINE ULTRASOUND
I am fully qualified in ultrasound scanning to detect pregnancy in canines.
I always aim to give you my best estimate of how many puppies your bitch is expecting. I can scan 4 - 5 weeks after mating but preferably at 30 - 35 days. From 45 days I can re-scan to check your puppies are viable but I only suggest this for very small litters.

If you're ever concerned about your bitch's wellbeing please see your vet.

Ultrasound is very low-impact and as stress-free as possible for your bitch.

MOBILE SERVICES
Ultrasound scanning can be done in your home - if you're interested in this service please get in touch. Availability & cost is subject to distance.
Microchipping is ​a mobile-only service charged at 50p per mile.
Show training is typically booked at The Tomlin Hall, Bickington.
Other locations are available.
MICROCHIPPING
Discount per puppy is available to all litters scanned at Fairwinds Canine Services.
The standard database used is currently Animal Tracker.
Please visit contact Meaylee for all enquiries.
With plenty of notice, I am happy to order microchips for your choice of database by request. Please note, an extra charge may be applicable.

I am proud to be able to offer this service - puppies are the future of our canine world and I love working with like-minded dog lovers and caring, responsible breeders!
I always aim to give you a clear scan with my best estimate on the numbers between day 30 and 35 gestation.

I have been owned by Flatcoated Retrievers throughout my life. My first Golden Retriever joined us in 2012 and I have loved pursuing both breeds ever since.
I started showing our dogs at 6 years old as the third generation. I have been fortunate to enjoy some success with our first Show Champion, AHA Adult Handler of the Year 2022 and a Championship Show Gundog Group 1.

I'm also a committee member of both Ilfracombe & District Canine Society and South Western Golden Retriever Club. I am an experienced trainer at Ilfracombe & DCS's Ringcraft classes and I offer specialist handling training sessions which have proven popular.
