From Nero to Hero!

During lock down, I was at my wits end. I had this beautiful boy, terrified of his own shadow but desperately wanted to show him. I was recommended to try Fairwinds Canine Services, and was introduced to Meaylee Lewis.

I had zero experience and Nero had a few behavioral nervous quirks to deal with. Meaylee had the most logical and calming approach and from day 1, Meaylee's step by step 1:1 approach inspired me with confidence.

Her knowledge and ring craft experience was second to none but, she didn't over load me, she gave me helpful tips and technique from the onset and progress was rapid. Her manner and communication skills allowed me to think it was all possible, without being overwhelmed and, when Nero became shy with strangers, Meaylee oozed confidence with us both, which has created such a trust bond, that now if I now say he's okay, he believes me.

Never would I have thought that our first show would lead to a Crufts qualification and that, by our 4th show, we achieved Best Puppy in Show. I never would have had the confidence or self belief without Meaylee - her skills and personalised approach is phenomenal - thoroughly recommend her - I have also found a real friend too!
